If we work together, you will learn that I take a humanist approach to counselling. This includes providing my clients with tools and step-by-step processes to empower themselves and continue to see positive change in their lives outside of therapy. I share instruction and guidance in the cultivation of mindfulness, self-compassion, relationship with nature practises, and embodiment practises (linking the mind and body) as I believe these to be the foundational components of self growth and self worth, necessary for lasting beneficial change. My approach is centred around deep listening and holding space for my clients, no matter what arises each session. Each one of us is unique, and we all have our own story to tell, so I will always meet you where you are at. My practise is very client centered meaning I will tailor each session specifically to you, to suit your therapeutic goals.
